ESL Sentence Starters is a simple warmer that you can use with teens and adults. This simple no-prep warmer can take only a few minutes of class time to get students going at the beginning of class.
ย Method:
  1. Start by selecting a sentence from the list below.
  2. Write the sentence on the board and ask students to finish the sentence in any way they would like.
  3. After, ask students to share their sentences and explain their answers.
Alternativeย 
  1. Print out a copy of the sentences below. Cut them into strips and put them in a box or container.
  2. Have students select one randomly and finish the sentence.
