Classroom Traffic Lights
Our interactive Classroom Traffic Lights is a simple no fuss set of traffic lights that can be used in class in a number of different ways. The traffic lights can flash the colour by hovering over the colour with your mouse or can stay solid by clicking on the colour. Some ways to use traffic lights in class
- Classroom noise traffic lights. During my classes while group activities are taking place, I like to project the traffic lights as visual cue to signal to the class if they are being too loud. Instead of shouting you can project the traffic lights and if red is lite, it means students need to be more quiet. Yellow means students should be talking quietly to each other and green means they can use their normal talking voices.
- Signal Behaviour. Are your students not behaving or following class rules? Signal this with the traffic lights. Sometimes a visual representation is much easier to language learners to understand and see. Red = bad class behaviour, Yellow = things are getting better or maybe worse. Green = The class are behaving well.
