ESL Games: Alphabetti Spaghetti

ESL Games: Alphabetti Spaghetti

Alphabetti Spaghetti is a simple game to practice the alphabet with students. This game can be adapted to practice numbers or anything that can be put in order (e.g numbers, months, times etc). This is a great activity to get students out of their seats and on their feet.
How to Play
To play, first give students an alphabet flashcard. Then when the students are ready you play the ‘A,B,C Song’ . While the music is playing, students dance and skip around the room. When you stop the music, the students need to organise themselves into the correct alphabetic order (A – Z) as quickly as they can. This game can be used as a warmer at the start of class to release some energy or at the end of class as a fun, yet productive reward for your young learners.
