Gerunds and Infinitives
Use this interactive board game to practice
gerunds and infinitives.
How to play
Students take turns rolling the dice and moving their piece along the board. When a student lands on a square they need to use a gerund or infinitive to complete the sentence. For example,
I want (stop) being late, and the student would say “I want to stop being late”. The other players need to listen and decide if the answer is correct or not. If the answer is correct the student stays on that square. If it is not correct they go back to their previous square. The first student to reach the finish square is the winner of the game.
