ESL Word search is a great way to get young learners revising vocabulary while having fun. A simple activity to set up and great writing practice to develop motor skills and spelling.
Activity Time: 10 mins +
Materials required: paper, pencils, ruler, list of vocabulary (on whiteboard or use optional word search template.)
Skills practiced: Vocabulary and spelling.
Level: Young learners
Method

 

1. Write words on the board that you want students to revise.
2. Give each student a sheet of paper. Get them to choose a number of words from the list and create their own word search. Scroll down for template.
3. Get the students to swap their word searches and complete them.
